Max Bloom is a Master of Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Melbourne, currently completing his final year of study. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Management) with First-Class Honours, giving him a unique blend of technical and commercial insight.

Alongside his studies, Max has gained hands-on experience designing and testing advanced mechanical systems in the defence sector, while also developing strong analytical and strategic skills through previous experience in the finance industry.

As part of his final year project, Max is working with Onethird on the development of the hardware for the SOMA system, focusing on the design and integration of mechanical and electronic components to enhance system functionality and reliability.
