Hemant Suresh is an engineer focused on the intersection of technology, sustainability, and automation. He is currently part of the team at Onethird, contributing to the development of the SOMA smart sleep mattress prototype.

Hemant is pursuing a Master of Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Melbourne. His deep passion for automation and sustainable tech is built on a strong foundation in key areas such as embedded systems, automation, and drone technology for environmental monitoring.

In addition to his technical pursuits, Hemant has demonstrated leadership as the Overall Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Cell at IIIT Hyderabad, where he led initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students. As a Wattle Fellow, he focuses on integrating sustainability directly into technology, exploring efficient solutions for AI and drone technology with minimal environmental impact.
